GoRaleigh Proposes September 2020 Service Improvements

GoRaleigh is providing additional service to two routes.

The Public Hearing has been scheduled June 11 at 4 p.m. For more information about how to participate, go to the City of Raleigh's event page. Public comments can be submitted from May 20 through June 17 either by emailing goraleigh@raleighnc.gov or by calling 919-996-3942.

In addition, there is a short survey which can be completed here.

More about the proposed additions in service:

Garner Route 20 currently provides hourly service along Garner Road into Garner, Monday through Friday and then begins a loop that travels in a counter-clockwise direction. The proposed service would include a second bus that would travel along the same route, but in a clockwise direction along the loop, making it a bidirectional route which would increase the frequency to every 30 minutes.

Caraleigh Route 21 currently provides weekday service from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. with 30-minute morning and evening peak frequency and hourly all other times. The weekend service has a span from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and runs hourly. The proposed change would increase the frequency of the weekday service to 30 minutes all day and provide 30-minute frequency until 7 p.m. on the weekends.
