In 2020, GoRaleigh implemented additional service to the Garner Route 20, adding a second bus making the route bi-directional and increasing frequency to every 30 minutes.
GoRaleigh is now considering a .75-mile extension to the route along Timber Drive east. The extension would serve over 1,500 existing and future residents. In addition, the proposed extension would serve multiple medical facilities with essential job opportunities and transportation for clients to these facilities.
This would be a cost neutral route extension.
