MicroLink is GoRaleigh’s new on-demand microtransit service. Unlike traditional fixed-route buses, MicroLink operates within designated service zones and provides rides on demand.
Curb-to-curb service: Riders may need to walk to a nearby street for pickup or drop-off, helping reduce wait times for everyone.
On-demand only: Trips cannot be booked in advance.
Replaces Route 401X and FRX in applicable service areas.

MicroLink provides local on-demand service in the Town of Rolesville, with connections to key destinations in Wake Forest and the WRX service to downtown Raleigh.

Launched January 5, 2026, MicroLink provides on-demand service in the Town of Fuquay-Varina, offering flexible local transportation within the service zone.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?
Per GoRaleigh policy, MicroLink is a fare-free service through June 30, 2025.
Can I bring someone along with me?
You can bring up to seven additional passengers in your party, depending on space availability.
Can I request a specific time for my pickup?
MicroLink is an on-demand service, meaning we don’t offer advance bookings. Book your ride when you’re ready to leave, since you’ll usually get picked up within 10-20 minutes.
I do not have a smartphone. Can I book a ride by calling in?
Yes, you may also book a ride by calling 919-996-3459 and speaking with a GoRaleigh dispatcher.
What do the vehicles look like?
Look for the MicroLink branded shuttle pulling up to your location. Information about the vehicle (e.g. license plate, make/model, and color) is also available in the app when you book a ride.
Should I tip the driver?
No. Drivers do not accept tips.

How old do I have to be to ride with MicroLink?
Youth under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to ride with MicroLink.
I am a wheelchair passenger. Do you have vehicles that can accommodate me?
Yes! All vehicles in the MicroLink are wheelchair accessible. Please indicate your disability in the main screen of the MicroLink app or by notifying the GoRaleigh dispatcher by phone.
Can I smoke or use an electronic cigarette in the vehicle?
No, smoking of any kind is prohibited, including e-cigarettes, vaporizers, or smokeless cigarettes.
Can I eat or drink on MicroLink?
No, eating and drinking on MicroLink vehicles is prohibited.
