September 6, 2026 Service Changes

Beginning Sunday, September 6, GoRaleigh will implement several minor schedule and naming updates across the system. These changes include timepoint adjustments, schedule corrections and updated stop and destination names.

Riders are encouraged to review the changes below and check updated schedules before traveling.


 

Stop and Destination Name Changes

  • Stop 9623 – New Hope Commons Walmart
    • Stop 9623, currently named New Hope Commons Walmart, will be renamed New Bern Ave Walmart to better reflect the location and local naming.
       
  • Directional signs on Routes 15, 15L, 18L and 33L will also be updated from “New Hope Commons” to “New Hope Rd.”

These are naming changes only. Routes and destinations are not changing, and buses will continue to serve the same locations.


Route 5 – Biltmore Hills

Minor timepoint adjustments will be made to weekday inbound trips traveling toward Downtown Raleigh.

Route 18 – Poole-Barwell

Minor timepoint adjustments will be made to weekday inbound trips traveling toward Downtown Raleigh.

Route 6 – Glenwood

Weekend service will be adjusted to remove the Townridge to Crabtree Valley Mall partial trips at the end of service.

This change brings the weekend schedule in line with the current weekday service pattern.

Route 70L – Brier Creek

Minor weekend timepoint adjustments will be made to align the weekend schedule with the current weekday schedule.

Route 2 – Falls of Neuse

Minor Saturday timepoint adjustments will be made to align the Saturday schedule with the current weekday schedule.

Route 11L – Buck Jones Connector

Minor weekend timepoint adjustments will be made to align the weekend schedule with the current weekday schedule.

R-Line

The R-Line will be paused from GoRaleigh schedules as part of the September 6 service change. R-Line service has been paused since August 9, 2026.

Riders traveling in and around Downtown Raleigh can continue to use other GoRaleigh routes serving downtown destinations.
