In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, transit systems throughout the region and nation suspended fare collection to maintain social distancing between operators and the public. As a part of federal requirements for any fare changes lasting longer than six months, an equity analysis was completed to ensure no disparate or disproportionate impacts to minority and low-income populations.
