GoRaleigh buses will be operating a park-and-ride system into Downtown Raleigh, making it easy for you to get to First Night Raleigh 2017 festivities! Starting at 5:00pm, GoRaleigh will operate from both the NCSU Park & Ride Lot at Oval Drive & Initiative Way and from North Raleigh’s Triangle Town Center Mall at 5959 Triangle Town Boulevard, offering service frequencies of 30 minutes or less. The downtown pick-up and drop-off locations will be at Morgan Street and Wilmington Street, in the heart of First Night Raleigh festivities. Security will be provided at both park-and-ride locations with off-duty Raleigh police officers for the duration of the event. Park & Ride buses will run until 1:00am, making it easier for you to get in and out of the festivities! Regular fare applies at $1.25 one way and $2.50 round trip.
The R-Line, GoRaleigh's free downtown circulator is also a good option. It runs every 15 minutes. Route and hours can be found here. Normal GoRaleigh routes are also an option as they run into downtown throughout the evening, just be aware of the hours. More info can be found here.
