Join the City of Raleigh's Commute Smart Raleigh, Bicycle and Pedestrian, and GoRaleigh staff to practice commuting by bike and bus.

Begin your practice commute at 10 a.m. at the NC Museum of Art's Citrix Cycle station. Ride on a provided e-bike downtown to GoRaleigh Station (approximately 5.9 miles). From there, board a GoRaleigh bus to return to the NC Museum of Art.

This ride is intended to build confidence for cyclists and potential bus riders and teach tips for a greener commute to work.

This is the kick-off event for Lighten Up, Raleigh, the annual campaign promoting safer commutes during the darker fall and winter months.
