GoRaleigh September Service Changes
Beginning on September 8, 2024, GoRaleigh will implement service changes that include a new high-frequency route, increasing 15-minute service across two routes, adding weekend service and names changes for specific routes.

Route 6 - Glenwood | Name Change | Name changed from "Crabtree" to "Glenwood" |
Route 8 - Six Forks | Service Change | Route 8 will no longer service Raleigh Union Station after 7:00 p.m.
Route 9 will provide service between GoRaleigh Station and Raleigh Union Station at 15-minute frequencies. |
Route 9 - Hillsborough | New Route - 15 Minute High Frequency | New 15-minute high frequency route along Hillsborough street |

15-Minute High Frequency Service for Routes 5 and 21
Routes 13 and 22 will be replaced with the new high-frequency routes | Route 5 (15-minute frequency), Route 21 (15-minute frequency) and Route 20 (30-minute frequency). Route 19 Martin Luther King also supplements this service with 15 minute frequencies along MLK Jr Blvd
Route 5 - Biltmore Hills will become a 15-minute high frequency route during the day for weekdays and weekends increased service along the corridor upgrading from previous 30-minute service. Route 5 will also shift to 30-minute frequency during the evenings. The route will be realigned to State Street instead of Rock Quarry Road.
Route 21 - Caraleigh will remain a 15-minute high frequency route during the week and gain 15-minute service on the weekends.
The additional service will cover previously served sections along Route 13 and 22 which will be decommissioned. This service change provides increased service and frequency throughout the corridor.

Route 20 Adds Weekend Service
Route 20 - Garner A/B will gain weekend service to include 30-minute frequency connecting Garner to downtown Raleigh along the loop.
Welcome Route 9!
GoRaleigh's newest high-frequency route, Route 9 - Hillsborough, will provide 15-minute service along Hillsborough Street and offer connections to popular locations including downtown Raleigh, NC State University, Meredith College, Pullen Park and more.
